Ellen

Ellen’s energy is focused on creating positive change in our community. Having just moved to Colorado in the early 1990s with three toddlers, she was looking for local activities and family events. Not finding a comprehensive source of that information, she started Kids’ Pages Magazine, a free resource for thousands of local families. This opened her eyes to the immense struggle so many local families faced. She founded a nonprofit, Kids’ Pages Cares, that assisted tens of thousands of children and families in Colorado. After taking a hiatus to raise four amazing kids, and care for her terminally ill mother, Ellen is anxious to get back to work and focus her energy and expertise on her other love, animals.
